Marty Nelson, Vice President, Business Development
Marty Nelson joined Maricom in July 2009 as Vice President of Business Development.
Marty has approximately thirty years of Management Information Systems development, installation and support experience in healthcare's government and commercial sectors. He also has held prior top managerial positions as the Vice President of Business Development. He has fifteen years of broad management experience in areas such as software development, installations, transitioning new users onto the new systems, end-user customer service, production support, new business development, and research and development. He is extremely well versed in all aspects of project life cycle management. Mr. Nelson has been exclusively focused on healthcare information technology business development for the past eleven years. Prior to his current position at Maricom, Mr. Nelson served in senior management positions for Medicare and Consulting divisions at ViPS.
Marty excels at building strong relationships with customers, partners, and his teams. He is an effective communicator and is able to work closely with stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions, products and services within targeted time frames and allocated budgets. He is able to manage multiple priorities and quickly arrive at sound decisions.
